Embracing Myself & My Passions
The journey to starting this blog has been about recognizing that my unconventional interest in animals and spontaneous bursts of inspiration are not just quirks, but powerful gifts that allow me to view the world through a different lens. By fostering an environment where I can freely explore and express my creativity, I empower myself to break away from traditional boundaries and discover innovative yet practical solutions to challenges faced by pet parents.
A Purposeful Blog: Showcasing My Love for Animal Care
From an early age, my heart has always belonged to animals. There’s an indescribable joy that comes from caring for them, whether it’s the gentle nuzzle of a dog, the playful antics of kittens, or the majestic presence of horses. Each of these animals brings a unique spirit into my life, motivating me to deepen my knowledge and skills in pet care. Caring for them transcends just meeting their physical needs—it is an enriching experience that fosters emotional connections and mutual respect.
Dogs, with their unwavering loyalty and affection, have a special place in my heart. Jax, my family’s precious rescue dog, was a direct result of my determination to have a family dog. I would create picket signs, presentations, and even gathered my brothers to protest around our house just for the chance to have a family dog.
Cats, on the other hand, exhibit an elegance and independence that I find to be amazing. Their curious nature and playful demeanor are just some of the attributes I’m drawn to. My two, Shadow and Faith, constantly challenge my patience while being a constant source of motivation in my daily life.
Lastly, my passion extends to horses, creatures that embody strength and grace (and sometimes spooks). The connection I feel while grooming a horse or riding through the woods is unparalleled. Growing up, I was a very typical horse girl: wearing riding gear to school, begging my parents for lease money, dragging my siblings to horse shows, collecting Breyer horse models, you name it I’ve done it. There were a few horses who have greatly impacted me and my maturity, among the many that I’ve had the privilege to take lessons on, lease, or care for.
In essence, my love for animal care is intertwined with my passion for dogs, cats, and horses. Through each interaction, I not only nurture these animals but also learn valuable life lessons that continue to shape my journey.
