The American Kennel Club, or AKC website is your hub for dogs. From registration to broadcasted events, AKC has information that is useful if you own a dog, or plan to get one! The “AKC” heading will bring you to the AKC homepage. Below are fun resources that can be found on the site!
TICA
The International Cat Association, or TICA, is the AKC for cats. They offer a wide range of information about cat breeds, cat care, and cat products, as well as event listings within their organization.
ADA
The Americans with Disabilities Act has a variety of online resources for disabled individuals, caretakers, and families of disabled individuals. They have specific resources for service animals and their handlers, as well as policies regarding your disability rights.
Animal Planet
Animal Planet was my go-to when I was a nature and animal obsessed kid. They have a catalog of all of their shows and multiple series to choose from, as well as their own resources to explore!
National Geographic
If you don’t know what National Geographic is, they are a company that produces articles, research, documentaries, and other media content about nature, science, and technology.
myPurina
The myPurina app allows you to create an account to gain exclusive discounts and insights, and you can order straight from Purina!
Chewy
Chewy is an online retailer of pet products, and even has their own pharmacy. You can set recurring orders for your fur babies favorite products like food, litter, treats, and other goodies.
