Getting Started Today
Below are a couple of different ways you can get involved in animal welfare and education in your community, or in organizations that serve the community on a larger scale. Be aware that each organization has it’s own core principles, and one may differ from another even though they operate for the same cause; it’s important to find one that reflects your own values.
Please note that some controversial organizations like PETA function on the emotional response of viewers to gain relevancy and engagement, rather than bringing factual information for the betterment of animals. Their information available is largely biased.
For the sake of upholding our personal values at Life of a Cat Mom, PETA is not a recommended organization by us for this reason.
